Camden County Community Engagement Scholarship

The Camden County Community Engagement Scholarship provides awards up to $3,000 for qualified students enrolled in baccalaureate degree programs at the College of Coastal Georgia (CCGA). Scholarship funds may be used to offset the costs of tuition, fees, living expenses, books and supplies, during the period of enrollment at?Coastal Georgia. The scholarship is awarded upon acceptance and enrollment into one of the College’s baccalaureate programs (business, nursing or teacher education). The initial award provides up to $2,000 for students during their junior year. Funds are dispensed at a semester rate of $1,000 for the initial award during both fall and spring semesters, given successful and continuous matriculation and academic progress. Students must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester. At the end of junior year, if the student has a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or greater (or a GPA for junior year of 3.7 or greater) and has been active in the required service activities of the scholarship, scholarship recipients will be eligible for an additional $1,000 award for use in senior year. Up to six (6) awards may be granted annually. Scholarship applications will be accepted and considered for initial award during fall semesters. The application deadline for a next academic year scholarship is January 1st of each year new students and March 1st of each year for returning and transfer students. Applications received after this date will be retained as alternates.
