Kings Bay Chapter of Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) Scholarship

The Kings Bay Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America (KBMOAA) has established this scholarship in support of deserving military veterans who are students of the College of Coastal Georgia seeking bachelor’s degrees in any of Coastal Georgia’s academic majors.

The Military Officers Association of America was founded in 1929 and includes more than 370,000 members nationwide. The KBMOAA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the veterans’ earned entitlements and to maintaining a strong national defense. They also play an active role in proposing legislation affecting the career force, the retired community, and veterans of the uniformed services.

CRITERIA

• Must be a military veteran (verified by DD Form 214 for retired or separated or ID card for active members)
• All other students minimum institutional GPA of 2.9
• Service to veterans, the college and community are to be considered 
• Preference given to students taking one or more courses at the Camden Center during the current or previous academic year
