Dr. William Kantor Scholarship Fund

The Dr. William Kantor Scholarship Fund, was established in December 2014 by Mr. Bill Gussman. Mr. Gussman is a retired Coca-Cola executive and current CCGA Foundation Trustee. The intent of the scholarship is to offer students from Glynn County schools who are not eligible for in-state tuition, awards that will bridge the gap between in-state tuition and out-of-state tuition, and based on confirmed financial need, will cover all standard student fees. The donor’s passion in this area stems from his direct connection to Dr. William Kantor who rescued children from the Ukraine around the turn of the last century. Among these children, was Mr. Gussman’s Grandmother, Lottie.
