Glynn Academy Alumni Endowed Scholarship

Glynn Academy Alumni Endowed Scholarship, recognizing the close relationship between the Glynn Academy Alumni and the College of Coastal Georgia, by virtue of the mutual interest in providing scholarship support to Glynn Academy graduates to attend the College, an endowed scholarship at the College of Coastal Georgia was created and named The Glynn Academy Alumni Endowed Scholarship at the College of Coastal Georgia thanks to the generous support of Gene L. and Elizabeth Diane Ussery and other Glynn Academy Alumni. The vision is to build lifelong ties to Glynn Academy and the College of Coastal Georgia as well as to cultivate pride and maintain the existing bond between classmates who have already participated in many worthwhile projects. Many members of the Glynn Academy Alumni attended Brunswick Junior College – the precursor to the College of Coastal Georgia – in preparation for baccalaureate and advanced degrees from other institutions of higher learning as well as a start to successful careers and fulfilling lives. The number of scholarship awards dispersed each year will be based on the earnings generated and distributed to the spendable account. The Scholarship may be renewable, by reapplication, upon satisfactory academic achievement.
