Golden Isles Chapter Military Officers Association of America Endowed Scholarship
The Golden Isles Chapter of Military Officers Association of America has established an endowed scholarship to support deserving students of the College of Coastal Georgia in pursuit of their degrees. To qualify, students must be active or retired, or an immediate family member of an active or retried individual from one of the following United States uniformed services: Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Public Health Service, and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Student should have verifiable financial need, and are expected to maintain a satisfactory GPA to remain on track towards graduation. First preference is for a qualified student from Glynn, County.

Their membership area includes Brunswick, St. Simons Island, Jekyll Island, Sea Island, and the surrounding counties. The Military Officers Assocation of America (MOAA) is the nations largest and most influential association of military officers. It is an independent, nonprofit, politically nonpartisan organization. MOAA’s highest priority is providing first-class service to is members, and is the leading voice on compensation and benefits matters for members of the military community.
