Jann Swanson Memorial Scholarship

The Jann Swanson Memorial Scholarship is established to generate scholarship awards for deserving students at the College of Coastal Georgia.

This scholarship honors the memory of Jann Swanson. Jann earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in Journalism from the University of Utah. Over the course of her life she worked in journalism, real estate, and as a freelance writer. Glynn County knew her as an committed and engaged community member. This scholarship is established by fellow members of Women’s Voices of Glynn County, a women’s organization dedicated to making a positive impact on local, state, and national issues. Jann was an active, valued member who is greatly missed.
