Mac and Brenda Nease Scholarship

The Mac and Brenda Nease Scholarship was established by Dr. Lawton M. Nease, III, and his wife Brenda to support deserving students with demonstrated financial need of the College of Coastal Georgia.

Mac Nease specializes in estate and business planning.? He attended Georgia Institute of Technology for his undergrad, and he went on to get his MBA and Ph.D. in business from Georgia State University.? Both he and his wife Brenda have been very active in philanthropy, serving on several boards for Georgia Tech, Georgia State University, and the Emory Winship Cancer Institute.? With a passion for supporting students and student success,?they have chosen to support College of Coastal Georgia students.??Scholarship shall be awarded to undergraduate students with verifiable, demonstrated financial need as reported through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

Student must have a minimum high school or college GPA of 3.0

Preference given to students majoring in a program offered by the School of Business and Public Management
