Toni and Ed Saboe Endowed Neptune Small Nursing Scholarship

Karl Edward Saboe and Toni Lynn Saboe are Colorado residents who spend portions of each year on St. Simons Island and have benefited from services provided by the Glynn County medical community. Family members are active in the nursing and education professions and provide an incentive to help others obtain their credentials. Our intention in funding the Nursing Scholarship is to attract students from the African American communities of Glynn, Brantley, McIntosh, Camden, and Wayne Counties to enter the nursing profession and become role models and mentors to others. The Toni and Ed Saboe Endowed Neptune Small Nursing Scholarship is being established to continue the College of Coastal Georgia’s institutional commitment to diversity. As a College, we understand the value a diverse student population brings to campus. This scholarship embodies a commitment to fostering diversity, inclusivity, and equal access to education within our community and will provide an opportunity to incoming or current student leaders who demonstrate leadership through multicultural student organizations and diversity initiatives at the College of Coastal Georgia or who have a history of inclusion and diversity-related leadership in their high schools or communities.
