USG Laptop Scholarship

The USG has awarded the College of Coastal Georgia with Laptops to be awarded to students with un-met financial need as determined by USG institutional financial aid offices based upon FAFSA application results. Priority should be given to students with greatest financial need and who are currently without a computer or cannot otherwise afford a computer with second preference given for those students who have demonstrated financial need and are currently in need of a more functional computer.

Once awarded, the laptops become personal property of the student recipient, with no obligations from either the student nor the institution.? The computers are not part of state technology inventory nor institutional inventory and are therefore not supported by any institution?s nor state?s IT department.? All computers come complimentary, on-demand technical support for recipients who are using these devices for up to one year after they receive them from HumanIT, inc. Additionally, these devices come with a 1-year hardware warranty. In the event anything is wrong with them during the warranty period, students may call or text HumanIt anytime between 8 AM and 5 PM PST, Monday through Friday, at 888.268.3921.
